Brian Keener

Brian Keener, CPCU, is an experienced insurance professional with extensive expertise in litigation and claims operations. Currently serving as the Director of Litigation Operations at USAA since April 2017, Brian leads a team of over 100 claims professionals and manages complex litigation processes. Prior roles include Senior Litigation Manager and various positions at Horace Mann and The Hartford, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of extensive claims operations and ensuring effective management of high-complexity injury claims. Brian's career began at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where initial roles involved multi-line claims adjusting and supervision. Brian holds an MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University and a B.A. in Business Administration from Texas Lutheran University.
