Don Hawkins, Ph.D., serves as the Strategic Innovation Director at USAA, where leadership of cross-functional teams has led to significant advancements in member digital experiences and enhanced data integrity processes. With extensive experience as an Educational Specialist at Education Service Center, Region 20, Don successfully implemented user-centered design for learning environments, managed high-value projects, and collaborated with diverse stakeholders to improve educational outcomes. Background includes roles as an Apple Certified Trainer and an Instructional Designer at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Don holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching with an emphasis on Instructional Design, along with an M.S. in Management of Technology and Project Management and a BASc in Applied Computer Science & Industrial Technology.
