Mahdi Naser Moghadasi

Mahdi Naser Moghadasi, PhD, is a Senior Data Scientist at USAA since June 2020, focusing on text data for advancements in the insurance industry using various models and techniques, including BERT and semantic search. Prior roles include Bootcamp Instructor at Southern Methodist University, imparting essential data science skills, and Senior Machine Learning Engineer at 7-Eleven, where research on advanced machine learning algorithms was conducted. Mahdi also served as Senior Data Scientist at Sirius XM Radio Inc., analyzing customer behavior data, and held software engineering positions at Capital One and American Airlines. Mahdi holds a PhD in Computer Science from Texas Tech University, where earlier degrees were also earned.
