Elise Hong

Elise Hong is an experienced research professional with a strong background in data analysis and assay development. Currently serving as a Research Technician IV at Doheny Eye Institute since October 2022, Elise has demonstrated expertise in analyzing large proteomics datasets using Python and R, along with data visualization through Tableau. Prior roles include a Sr. Research Associate at Promis Diagnostics, where Elise developed assays for urinary tract infections and contributed to LIMS development, and as an Associate Researcher, where focus included colorectal cancer assays and automation development for SARS-CoV-2 assays. Elise is progressing towards a Master's degree in Data Analytics from Western Governors University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Genetic Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University.
