Jacob Nelson

Jacob Nelson, MPH, M(ASCP) is currently the Director of Laboratory Services at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. Prior to this role, Jacob held various positions at companies such as COPAN Diagnostics, Inc., Children's Hospital Los Angeles, St. Mary Medical Center, and Diversified Clinical Laboratory, accumulating a wealth of experience in microbiology and laboratory operations. Jacob's educational background includes a B.S. in Microbiology from California State University, Long Beach and an MPH in Environmental Health Sciences with a focus on Environmental Infectious Diseases from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
