Megan M. Giblin has over 20 years of experience in international trade and customs policy. Megan M. began their career in 2000 as a Trade Associate at the California Trade and Commerce Agency's Office of Export Development. In 2002, they held the role of Research Intern at the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Export Assistance Center, and Trade Policy Analyst at Urusan Consulting. From 2004 to 2015, they were Business Operations Manager Global Trade at Hewlett-Packard Company, where they developed alternative approaches to negate or eliminate additional trading costs and shipment delays, and served as a company liaison with external counsel. Since 2015, they have been Senior Director Customs and Trade Facilitation and Director, Customs and Trade Facilitation, and Trade Policy Manager Anti-Illicit Trade at the United States Council for International Business (USCIB).

Megan M. Giblin has a diverse education history. In 2020, they earned a Certificate from the Anti-Illicit Trade institute at the Terrorism, Transnational Crime, and Corruption Center - Shar School of Public Policy, George Mason University in the field of Executive Seminar, Illicit Finance and Trade-Based Money Laundering, Executive Webinar. In 2001, they earned a Master of International Business Administration and Chinese Studies Certificate from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey in the fields of International Business, international trade and trade policy, Chinese studies, and Spanish studies. In 1999, they earned Certificates from the Beijing Language & Culture University, College of Intensive Language Study in the field of Chinese. In 1997, they earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA from Illinois State University in the fields of French and Spanish, as well as Certificates from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in the field of Spanish. Lastly, in 1994, they earned a Certificate from the Universit\u00e9 catholique de l'Ouest in the field of French.
