Jacob Mantey Esq.

Jacob Mantey, Esq. serves as the Legal Services Network Coordinator at the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants since February 2023, focusing on consular processing, asylum, SIV, re-parole, and family reunification for Afghan clients. Prior experience includes a role as Staff Attorney in the Housing and Economic Justice Divisions at the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York, and research assistance at Albany Law School, where Jacob produced memoranda on immigration-related topics. Jacob's legal experience also encompasses a legal internship with the New York State Attorney General's Office, work with the Justice Center at Albany Law School Immigration Law Clinic, and a volunteer role at the Legal Aid Society. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Albany Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Siena College.
