Chuenkai Shie

ChuenKai Shie is an experienced Machine Learning Engineer at USEN Corporation since February 2019, previously serving as an AI Engineer at FiNC from June 2017 to January 2019, where responsibilities included AI service deployment. At FiNC, ChuenKai Shie developed a comprehensive food detection system, employing dynamic datasets and utilizing object detection frameworks like F-RCNN and YOLOv3, achieving approximately 60% mAP with limited data. Prior to this, ChuenKai Shie was a Senior Software Engineer at HTC from 2013 to March 2017, focusing on algorithm development and specializing in computer vision, machine learning for medical data, and motion sensor data mining. Significant contributions include work on the Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE image diagnosis projects, leading to multiple publications. ChuenKai Shie holds a Master's degree from National Taiwan University and a Bachelor's degree from National Chiao Tung University, both in Information Engineering.
