Carlo Di Fulco has been working in the technology industry since 2009. Carlo started as a .Net Developer at ICONSULTING, where they worked on designing systems for Master Data Management. Carlo then worked as a freelance developer for Grow VC International Limited, where they worked on the development of the social network growvc.com. In 2011, they joined Nokia as a Web Developer, where they implemented large scale systems exposing RESTful API using PHP 5, CouchDB and nginx. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Iconicfuture GmbH, where they designed and implemented high performance tracking API applying RESTful paradigm with highly optimized PHP framework DooPHP and Apache Kafka as a high performance data bus. Carlo then joined Myra Security GmbH as a Software Development Team Lead, where they built and managed a team of five full stack developers, acted as a tech lead, and mentored new team members. Currently, they are the Lead API Engineer at Userlane.

Carlo Di Fulco obtained a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna between 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Computer Engineering from Università degli Studi di Palermo between 2001 and 2005. In addition, they have certifications in Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance (obtained in November 2012) and EMCDSA Data Science Associate from EMC Education Services.
