James Gerakios

James Gerakios is an experienced creative media professional currently serving in dual roles at USF Athletics and the USF Hockey Club as a Creative Media and Creative Content Manager, respectively. Previously, James held positions in data collection for the City of Tarpon Springs and contributed to athletic communications at the University of Tampa. Notable accomplishments include assisting with the scoring and reporting of baseball games, managing marketing initiatives for USF Athletics, and serving as Campaign Manager for a local commissioner candidate. James also garnered extensive experience in fan engagement as a Fan Host for the Tampa Bay Rays and as part of the University of Tampa JV Baseball team. James is pursuing an MBA/MS in Sport and Entertainment Management at the University of South Florida, following a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Tampa and an Associate's degree from St. Petersburg College.
