Wayne Ng

Wayne Ng has worked in the software development and quality assurance industry since 2011. Wayne'sfirst role was as an Instructor and Student Support Manager at Sapling Learning, which they held from 2011 to 2014. Wayne then moved to Macmillan Learning, where they were a Quality Assurance Engineer from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, they joined uShip, where they have held the roles of Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Development Engineer in Test, and Principal Software Development Engineer in Test. In their role as Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, they wrote C# end-to-end tests in .NET framework using Selenium, xUnit and Fluent Assertions in CI/CD environment for regression testing, created API automation framework in node.js using jest and axios for AWS microservices, and mentored QA I and QA II on standards and best practices. Wayne also implemented a test case template and migrated uShip to Testrail to standardize documentation for cross team knowledge transfer of product.

Wayne Ng obtained a BS in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin between 2008 and 2011. In October 2020, they earned a Certified Incident Responder certification from PagerDuty.
