Zachary Nelson

Zachary Nelson has worked at several companies since 2010. Zachary began their career in the US Navy as a Gas Turbine Systems Technician, a role they held from 2010 to 2017. In 2017, they moved to Versum Materials, where they worked as a Gas and Chemical Technician III until 2018. Zachary then joined Flotek Industries, Inc. as a Field Chemist until 2020. In 2020, Zachary began working at Software Engineering Applications as a Full Stack Engineer, Back End Developer, and Frontend Developer. Later that year, they also took on a role as a Front End Developer at UPLIFT Desk. In 2021, Zachary began working at uShip as an Associate Software Engineer and Software Engineer.

Zachary Nelson's education history includes graduating from Anna High School in 2010, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from American Military University in 2019, and completing the Hack Reactor @ Galvanize Software Engineering Immersive program in 2020. Zachary also has certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) for Maintenance Mechanic (Any Industry) Journeyman Certificate, Power Plant Operator (Utilities) Journeyman Certificate, and Pumper Gauger (Chemical, Petrol, Refin, Pipeline Journeyman Certificate.
