Sejla Avdic

Sejla Avdic, M.A. has a diverse work experience. From 2020 to present, they have worked as a Recruiter at Ushur. Prior to that, they were a Recruiting Coordinator from 2020 to 2022 at the same company. Sejla also has volunteer experience as a Project Manager and Event Coordinator at the United Nations Association | Mid-Peninsula Chapter, where they planned and organized events, recruited volunteers, and presented on international relations issues. Sejla also worked as a Business Services Coordinator at the City of Sunnyvale from 2019 to 2020. In 2018, they interned as an Energy Policy Intern at the American Action Forum, where they researched and analyzed current energy policies. Sejla's earlier experience includes being a Managing Graduate Editor for the International Relations Journal at San Francisco State University in 2015, and a Sales Associate and Assistant Manager at Victoria's Secret from 2008 to 2013, where they excelled in customer service and management.

Sejla Avdic, M.A. obtained their Master of Arts degree in International Relations from San Francisco State University, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the same university, attending from 2010 to 2013. Sejla also holds an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies from De Anza College, which they earned between 2007 and 2010.

Additionally, Sejla has pursued various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in different areas. In November 2022, they obtained Ushur Certified Pro - Level 1 certification from Ushur. In May 2020, they completed the "Become a Technical Recruiter" certification program offered by LinkedIn. Sejla also earned certifications in "Leading with Emotional Intelligence," "Talent Sourcing," and "Technical Recruiting" from LinkedIn in April 2020. Furthermore, in August 2017, Sejla obtained the "Communication, Facilitation, and Collaboration in the Workplace" certification from NOVA Workforce Board.
