Carmelo Rizzo has a comprehensive work experience in the financial services industry. Carmelo began their career at Bankers Trust as an Assistant Plan Manager, where they worked for an unknown period. Carmelo then joined MetLife, where they held various roles, including Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, and Manager of the New Business Unit. At MetLife, they were responsible for client conversions, plan provisions, and regulatory compliance.
In 1999, Carmelo moved to Morgan Stanley as the Installation Department Manager, overseeing the conversion and implementation of Defined Contribution plans. Carmelo later took on the role of Manager for the OmniPlan Conversion project, responsible for project development and test plans.
In 2002, they joined Affiliated Computer Services as an Implementation Manager, consulting with clients on project discovery, plan design, and operational efficiency. Carmelo managed the implementation of projects within budget and on time.
From 2006 to 2021, Carmelo worked at Conduent as a Client Service Manager, primarily focusing on two major clients and serving as the main contact for their DC record-keeping relationship. Carmelo managed a team of benefits analysts and provided guidance on processing and regulatory issues.
In 2021, they joined SS&C Technologies as a Retirement Plan Account Manager, where they managed retirement plans and served as a key point of contact for clients. Currently, they are working at USI Consulting Group as an Account Manager.
Carmelo Rizzo attended Hofstra University from 1980 to 1984, where they pursued a degree in Finance. Carmelo successfully completed their Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) during their time at the university.
