Brenda Schornak

Brenda Schornak, CPCU, has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Brenda started their career in 1988 at Zurich North America, where they served as the Regional Underwriting Manager. In this role, they managed the State of Michigan book of business, handling various responsibilities such as reviewing loss information, risk management reviews, and pricing new and renewal business. Brenda worked at Zurich for an impressive twenty years before moving on to National Specialty Underwriters, where they worked as a Senior Underwriter. At National Specialty Underwriters, Brenda was responsible for underwriting and pricing hotel risks for a Risk Purchasing Group. Brenda then joined Spira Power Yoga, where they served as the Studio Manager and Yoga Teacher, handling tasks such as managing the studio software program, teaching yoga classes, and managing inventory. After this, Brenda worked at B Free Corp as the Owner, where they completed a yoga teaching program and began teaching volunteer yoga classes while also making and selling craft items. Brenda then served at Galluzzo Insurance Agency as the Commercial Manager, managing the Commercial Book of Business and preparing new business submissions for clients. Prior to their current position, Brenda worked at Wells Fargo Insurance Services, USA as an Account Executive, where they managed the Commercial Book of Business, solicited information from clients, obtained quotes, and created proposals. Currently, they hold the position of Team Lead - Account Executive at USI Insurance Services. In this role, Brenda leads a team of account executives and serves as the Commercial Lines Manager for Eastern Washington/Idaho.

Brenda Schornak, CPCU holds a CPCU Designation from the National Insurance Alliance, with a field of study in insurance. Brenda is also a certified CPCU in Good Standing, obtained from The Institutes in December 2020.
