Eric Rinker has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Eric began their career in 2000 as a Line Tech at HP Hood LLC, where they worked for eight years. In 2008, Eric joined Wyle Information Systems as a VPN Engineer, supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. After two years in this role, they moved on to Enterprise Information Services, Inc. (EIS) in 2010, where they worked as an IA Security Engineer for the U.S. Coast Guard Operations Support Center (OSC). During their time at EIS, Eric also served on the ITSEC and FISMA teams. In 2016, they transitioned to USmax Corporation, continuing their work as an IA Security Engineer for the U.S. Coast Guard OSC. At USmax, Eric served as an Alternate Information Systems Security Officer (AISSO) and was responsible for conducting vulnerability scans and mitigating identified weaknesses.
