Assistant Director Of Communications at USNA Alumni Association and Foundation

Anne Sharpe has over 20 years of work experience in communications and media-related roles. Anne started their career in 1999 as an Information Dissemination Coordinator/Communications Coordinator for the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association & Foundation. In this role, they were responsible for reviewing news articles, conducting research, and assisting in writing articles for the organization's website and magazine.

In 2003, Anne transitioned to the role of Media Relations Manager/Communications Manager, where they worked closely with the U.S. Naval Academy Public Affairs Office to support their staff.

In 2006, they became the Web Communications Manager for the Alumni Association & Foundation. In this role, they were the webmaster for the organization's website and responsible for coordinating internal and external communications to increase awareness and understanding of the Association's goals and objectives.

Most recently, Anne holds the position of Assistant Director of Communications, a role they have been in since July 2019. Additional details about this role are not provided.

Following this, they enrolled in The University of Alabama in 1983, and completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications in 1986.
