Ken MacDougall has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ken started working as an Assistant Technologist at Ensyn in 2008 and later served as a Contractor/Consultant at Energy Options in 2009. In 2011, they joined The Home Depot as a Plumbing/Electrical Associate, where they troubleshooted residential plumbing, provided installation instructions, and more. Ken then worked as an Assistant Plumber at Advanced Plumbing in 2013 and as a Project Coordinator at Alstar Oilfield Contractors in 2014. Ken also held roles at DEW Engineering and Development ULC as a Jr. Draftsman and at Magellan Aerospace Limited as a Process Engineer, specializing in 3D scanning technology and manufacturing systems. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Technical Business Systems Analyst at Magellan Aerospace, representing various departments and utilizing different software systems. Ken then joined BWXT Canada Ltd as a Manufacturing Engineer from 2020 to 2021 and currently works at USNC as a Senior Quality Engineer and the Requirements, Codes and Standards Lead for Plant Engineering since 2022.
Ken MacDougall obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University in 2013. In 2014, they obtained the H2S Alive certification. In 2019, they completed the Introduction to Mill and Lathe Operation course through LinkedIn. Most recently, in 2020, they obtained the AS9100D ISO9001 Lead Auditor certification from SAI Global Assurance.
