Kurt Terrani

Kurt Terrani is an accomplished professional in the field of nuclear engineering, currently serving as Executive Vice President and Director at Ultra Safe Nuclear since February 2021. Prior to this role, Kurt held the position of Staff Scientist and Weinberg Fellow at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from September 2010 to February 2021. Academic contributions began as a Research Assistant at the University of California from August 2006 to August 2010, following a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Additional experience includes a Graduate Internship at Idaho National Laboratory focused on nuclear materials research, and internships at Intel and Honeywell Aerospace where materials engineering skills were developed. Kurt holds a B.S.E. in Materials Science and Engineering from Arizona State University.
