James Gibbons

James Gibbons is an experienced professional in machine vision and process control systems, currently serving as a Vision Engineer at USNR - Söderhamn Eriksson since November 2016, focusing on the research and design of machine vision and deep learning products. Prior to this role, James worked as a Software Engineer at Ventek, Inc. from March 1998 to October 2016, where significant contributions included the development of the NV4g veneer scanning and clipping system. James also has extensive experience as a Process Controls Consultant and Owner of Mt. Hood Software, and held various roles at WGBM Associates, Inc. and Progress Electronics Co. James began academic pursuits in physics at the University of Oregon, culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree.
