Liz Muehlfelt has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Liz started their career as a Human Resources Intern at Texas Instruments in 2008. Liz then worked as a Facility Manager at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2007 to 2009. Liz also served as a Human Resources Analyst at The Baby Fold from 2009 to 2011.
In 2011, they joined Wichita State University as an Assistant Residence Life Coordinator and later became a Residence Life Coordinator from 2012 to 2013. Liz then worked at Semester At Sea / ISE as a Resident Director for a short period in 2016.
From 2013 to 2019, Liz worked at Illinois Wesleyan University in different roles such as Residence Director, Area Director, and eventually as the Director of Student Activities & Leadership Programs.
Most recently, Liz is working at the USO since 2019. Liz started as a Programs Specialist before being promoted to Regional Operations Manager in 2020. Liz currently holds the position of Director of Operations, starting in June 2022.
Liz Muehlfelt completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2004 to 2007. Liz then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations at the same university in 2008-2009. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Psychology from Wichita State University.
