Jessica Mechtly has a diverse work experience. Jessica currently serves as an Advisory Board Member for Customer Experience at The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder and Rocky Mountain RIMS Chapter. Previously, they worked at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee as an Associate Director of Risk Management and Risk Manager, where they were involved in various tasks such as creating emergency management documents, developing safety training and policies, managing claims, and coordinating safety and crisis management programs. Jessica also worked as a Risk Management Analyst at Discover Goodwill of Southern and Western Colorado. Additionally, they serve as an Advisory Board Member at SERMA.

Jessica Mechtly pursued their education starting from 2010 to 2014 at Colorado Technical University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance and International Business. Following that, from 2015 to 2017, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same university, specializing in Finance. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also acquired the OnBase Certified System Administrator certification from Hyland in September 2017 and became a certified Property and Casualty Producer from the Colorado Division of Insurance in December 2013.
