Director, Strategic Customer Development EMEA And Global Key Account Engagement at U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention

Alex Fiechter has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Alex started their career as a Bench Chemist at Sandoz AG in 1991 and worked there till 1995. Following that, they joined Novartis as a Bench Chemist from 1995 to 1997. In 1997, they joined SOTAX Group as a Territory Sales Representative and later became a Sales Manager for Distributor Markets BUE until 2005. In the same year, they joined US Pharmacopeia as a Senior International Account Manager EMEA. Alex then worked their way up to become a Senior Manager of Strategic Customer Development EMEA from 2013 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Strategic Customer Development Lead for EMEA at US Pharmacopeia. Their responsibilities include customer engagement, managing customer accounts and authorized distributors, developing strategic marketing plans, and setting performance goals.

Alex Fiechter attended HWS Huber Widemann-Schule AG Basel from 1995 to 1997, specializing in Business Administration and Applied Technical Management. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1990, Alex attended Sandoz AG, where they earned a degree in Lab Technician.
