Nakia Eldridge

Nakia Eldridge is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in pharmacy operations and patient safety information. Currently serving as the Director of Healthcare Patient Safety Information at US Pharmacopeia since August 2020, Nakia previously held senior management roles in healthcare quality and safety. From December 2017 to August 2020, Nakia was the Director of Pharmacy Operations at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, and prior to that held similar positions at Inova Health System and University of Maryland Medical. Nakia began a career in pharmacy as a clinical pharmacist at MedStar Health from 2005 to 2011. Educational qualifications include an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business, a pharmacy residency at Children's National Medical Center, and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore. Nakia also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, English, Psychology, and Chemistry from the University of Miami.
