Jessica Meeker

Jessica Meeker, PhD, MPH, currently serves as a Senior Epidemiologist on the Emergency Preparedness and Response Team at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since July 2021. Jessica also holds the position of Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer with the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service, where the rank is Lieutenant. Prior experience includes work as a Doctoral Candidate in Epidemiology and the Research Translation Core Coordinator for the Superfund Research Program at the University of Pennsylvania, along with graduate-level roles improving data analysis methods related to maternal health. Educational qualifications encompass a PhD in Epidemiology and an MPH from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a BS in Biology with minors in German and Environmental Studies from Ursinus College.
