Lcdr Leslie Rivera Rosado

LCDR Leslie Rivera Rosado, PhD, serves as the Review Chief and Supervisor at the FDA, overseeing a team of scientists in assessing product quality for biological products since September 2012. With an extensive background in regulatory review, Leslie provides evaluations of Investigational New Drug and Biologics Licensing Applications, contributing to scientific research on drug quality and safety. In addition to a role at the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service, Leslie has held positions at the National Cancer Institute and the FDA as an ORISE Postdoctoral Fellow, with significant publications in cancer research. Leslie obtained a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and a B.S. in Industrial Microbiology from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus.
