Loren Rodgers has extensive experience in public health and data modernization, currently serving as Data Modernization Coordinator for the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) since September 2015. Previous roles at CDC include Director of the Tiberius Program Office, overseeing a team managing COVID-19 vaccine supply chain logistics, and Lead of the National Syndromic Surveillance Program, focusing on electronic patient data sharing. Loren's background also includes serving as a Captain with the US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps and as an Epidemiology Advisor at The White House. Additional experience encompasses positions as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at CDC and the Ohio Department of Health, and Vaccine Primary Reviewer at the FDA. Loren holds a Ph.D. in Biology from UC San Diego and a B.S. in Biology from the University of South Carolina.
