Lieutenant Commander at USPHS Commissioned Corps

Melody Sun, PharmD, MS, BCPS, has extensive experience in the pharmacy field, currently serving as a Lieutenant Commander with the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service since February 2018 and as a Senior Pharmacist for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement since June 2021. Prior roles include Clinical Pharmacist at the Indian Health Service and Pharmacist at RITE AID, with several internships that provided valuable experience in various health and pharmaceutical contexts, including projects with the Food and Drug Administration and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Melody holds a Master of Science in Informatics from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland Baltimore, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland.
