Suryam Palanki is a highly experienced pharmacist and informatics consultant, currently serving at the Indian Health Service since December 2020. In this role, Suryam acts as a subject matter expert and project coordinator for Business Intelligence software development. Suryam has extensive experience with the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service, where responsibilities include directing pharmacy operations and supervising a team of pharmacists and support staff. Previous positions include acting clinical director and director of pharmacy at Acoma Canoncito Laguna Hospital, pharmacy informaticist at Northern Navajo Medical Center, and roles at Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility and Tsaile Health Center. Suryam holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University and has a strong background in managing drug budgets, improving electronic health record systems, and enhancing pharmacy services across various healthcare settings.
