Xinzhi Zhang

Xinzhi Zhang currently serves as Director at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, a position held since June 2024. Xinzhi Zhang has been a Commander with the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service since July 2013. Previously, Xinzhi Zhang held pivotal roles including Scientific Program Director at the NIH Community Engagement Alliance (CEAL) and Chief of the Health Inequities and Global Health Branch at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. Xinzhi Zhang's extensive experience in health equity positions includes key leadership in various committees and programs aimed at addressing health disparities. Educational background includes a PhD in Health Services Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and an MD from Peking Union Medical College, complemented by foundational studies in pre-med at Peking University.
