Luis Alejandro Serna Gonzalez

Luis Alejandro Serna Gonzalez has extensive experience in environmental health, safety, and project management within the steel industry. Currently serving as Manager of Environmental Health Safety and Security at Outokumpu Mexinox S.A. de C.V. since March 2017, Luis has successfully taken on significant responsibilities after previously holding various roles at Outokumpu Stainless USA, including Project Engineer and Engineering & Design Coordinator. Luis managed multiple large-scale projects, such as the construction of a Melt Shop and the Finishing Bay, overseeing contractors and coordinating engineering efforts. Earlier career experience includes roles at ThyssenKrupp Mexinox, where Luis contributed to the expansion of facilities and served as a Training Instructor. Luis holds a degree in Industrial Design from Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí.
