Elaine Tung-lin Wu has extensive experience in intellectual property law, currently serving as Senior Counsel in the Office of Policy & International Affairs at the US Patent and Trademark Office since 2000. In this role, Elaine provides technical assistance and capacity building to foreign governments, particularly in China and Southeast Asia, to enhance their intellectual property systems. Elaine's responsibilities also include developing US intellectual property policy in coordination with other government agencies and negotiating bilateral and multilateral agreements. Prior to this position, Elaine was an Attorney-Advisor and Patent Litigation Associate at Howrey Simon Arnold & White from 1997 to 2000.
