Jamilah Sultan Newton

Jamilah Sultan Newton, Esq. is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Specialist at the Patent Trials and Appeals Board (PTAB) of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) since 2015. In this role, Jamilah prepares and reviews appeal decisions, provides substantive legal assistance on PTAB petitions, and ensures the accuracy of legal citations and references. Prior experience includes serving as Corporate Counsel for Greencourt Group, where Jamilah drafted and negotiated contracts and advised on state and federal regulations, and as an Associate Attorney at McCabe Weisberg & Conway. Jamilah has also contributed to legal education as an Adjunct Instructor at both the Harris School of Business and the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology.
