Jeff Swearingen

Jeff Swearingen is an experienced professional with a strong background in both intellectual property law and computer engineering. Currently serving as a Primary Patent Examiner at the US Patent & Trademark Office since June 2004, Jeff specializes in reviewing technical applications and conducting thorough searches for similar technologies. Jeff's educational accomplishments include a J.D. in Intellectual Property Law from The Catholic University of America and an MS in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University. Additionally, Jeff has experience in software development, having completed a Full Stack Coding Boot Camp at the University of Central Florida, and has held various roles in network administration and teaching assistance earlier in his career.
