Mustafa Iqbal

Mustafa Iqbal is a highly skilled professional in the engineering and patent examination fields. Currently serving as a Primary Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) since January 2017, Mustafa specializes in reviewing patent applications, assessing the inventions' scope, conducting technology searches, and communicating patentability findings to inventors and practitioners. Prior to this role, Mustafa gained experience as an Energy Engineer at alliantgroup and as an Engineer I in the Sub-sea Business Unit at Aker Solutions, where responsibilities included preparing assembly and test procedures for subsea trees and collaborating with design engineers.
