Matthew Ruckman is an experienced strategic analyst and operational planning team lead at United States Strategic Command, with a tenure beginning in August 2019. Prior to this role, Matthew served as an armor officer and strategist in the US Army from August 1996 to September 2019, and held various positions at United States Strategic Command between July 2014 and June 2019, including strategist and contingency plans branch chief. Matthew's earlier experience includes serving as chief of future operations at the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command from June 2011 to July 2014. Academically, Matthew holds a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from National Intelligence University (2009-2010) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Marshall University (1994-1999).
