Markus H Ruetimann

Markus H Ruetimann is a Strategic Advisor at UST. Prior to this, they were the Group Chief Operating Officer at Schroders from December 2004 to November 2016. In this role, they were responsible for the development and execution of the strategy for the Group's Operations & IT function globally, as well as the management of Operations, Information Technology and Information Security. Markus also chaired the Group Project Approval Committee, Group Information Security Council and UK Crisis Management Team.

From September 2010 to August 2020, Ruetimann was Commissioner at the Jersey Financial Services Commission. In this role, they were responsible for regulating, developing and supervising the Island’s financial services industry.

Prior to their role at Schroders, Ruetimann was at Hardy London Limited and Action for Children.

Markus H Ruetimann attended the Handelsschule Juventus KLZ in Zurich, IMD International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, and Zurich Business School in Zurich.
