Alanna Chapell

Alanna Chapell is an accomplished government affairs professional currently serving as the Director of Government Affairs at USTelecom | The Broadband Association since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Legislative Assistant for U.S. Congressman Dan Kildee and as a Legislative Aide and Correspondent for U.S. Senator Gary Peters. Alanna also held various positions, including Staff Assistant in Senator Peters' office and Legislative Intern for Senator Joe Manchin, III. Academic experience includes a leadership minor internship at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, complemented by time at the University of Cape Town. Earlier roles include dance instructor and program director for various organizations, demonstrating a strong foundation in leadership and community engagement.
