Anibal Diogenes

Anibal Diogenes currently serves as the Minnie Stevens Piper Professor and Professor with Tenure and Vice-Chair at UT Health San Antonio, where Anibal has been since July 2009. In addition to these roles, Anibal Diogenes is the Endodontics Pre-doctoral Director and a researcher specializing in Regenerative Endodontics and Pain. Prior to current appointments, Anibal Diogenes held positions as Associate Professor with Tenure and Vice-Chair at UTHSCSA from 2002 to 2009, and has experience as a Resident and Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Endodontics. Anibal Diogenes obtained a PhD in Pharmacology from UT Health San Antonio and a certificate in Endodontics. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a DDS from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco.
