Mady Stovall

Mady Stovall is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Adjunct Assistant Professor at UT Health San Antonio since August 2014, focusing on the education of nursing students across various learning environments. Prior to this role, Mady held various positions such as a Writing Coach and Content Tutor at Oregon Health and Science University, and Nurse Practitioner at Heartland Hospice Services. Mady has extensive experience as a Neuro-Oncology Nurse Practitioner at both Kaiser Permanente and UCLA, emphasizing the assessment and management of adult patients with primary brain tumors and involvement in hospice care. Additional nursing roles include Oncology RN positions at notable institutions such as Children's Hospital Los Angeles and Baylor University Medical Center. Mady Stovall holds a Master of Science in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from UT Health San Antonio, and a Ph.D. in Nursing Science from Oregon Health & Science University, alongside advanced degrees in oncology nursing from UCLA and an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Midland College.
