Wasim H. Chowdhury

Wasim H. Chowdhury serves as the Interim Administrator of the Spine Center and Administrator of the Department of Urology at UT Health San Antonio, managing daily financial and administrative operations, including human resources and compliance with laws and regulations. With a rich background in research and education, Wasim has held positions such as Research Associate at University Health System and Research Co-Investigator at South Texas Veterans Health Care System, where responsibilities included coordinating clinical trials for Urology. Wasim's earlier experience includes a role as Sr. Research Specialist at Johns Hopkins Medicine, managing lab personnel and training, along with an educational background that encompasses multiple degrees in molecular biology and biochemistry from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and the University of Dhaka. Prior to these roles, Wasim taught advanced and ordinary level sciences at Paper Chase.
