Alan Coulthard

Alan Coulthard is an experienced professional in the engineering and testing sector with a strong history of leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Test Systems at UTAC since March 2023, Alan previously held the position of Director of Test Facilities at Rivian, where responsibilities included overseeing internal test facilities and collaborating with various departments on project execution. At Iljin USA Corporation, Alan excelled as the Director of Product Innovation, managing product development and interactions with OE and tier 1 customers. Earlier in career progression, Alan held roles such as Test Lab Manager at Federal-Mogul, Test Manager at GE Aviation, and Senior Manager at Yazaki North America, with a foundational background as a Design and Release Engineer at Ford Motor Company. Alan holds an MBA from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kingston University.
