Verlyn Hawks

Verlyn Hawks has extensive experience in health information systems and IT management, currently serving as the Director of Health Information Systems at Utah Navajo Health Systems Inc. since June 2008. Verlyn leads a specialized team focused on data analytics and clinical systems implementation. Previous roles include Interim IT Manager at Blue Mountain Hospital, where Verlyn oversaw the IT setup for a new electronic community hospital, and Applications Engineering Team Manager at the LDS Church, managing high-availability systems for a global user community. With a solid foundation in systems architecture and software development from stints at Fidelity Investments, Sunquest Information Systems, and other organizations, Verlyn also has a background in academia as a computer science instructor. Verlyn holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Data Analytics from Western Governors University and a Master's in Management Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.
