Sam Shaw

Sam Shaw currently serves as the Title IX Peer Educator Team Lead at Utah State University, where responsibilities include assisting professional staff in leading and mentoring a team of student educators focused on sexual misconduct prevention training. Additionally, Sam has experience mentoring students as a USU 1010 Connections Peer Mentor and has trained numerous individuals on topics such as consent and bystander intervention in the Title IX Peer Educator role. Sam's previous work as an A-Team Member/Orientation Leader involved guiding over 20 orientation groups to support incoming students. Currently, as an Undergraduate Researcher in the College of Engineering, responsibilities include validating interview transcripts and ensuring participant privacy. Sam is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Utah State University, expected to graduate in 2025, following a high school diploma from Timpanogos High School in 2020.
