Shane Fenske

Shane Fenske is the Assistant General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Analytics and Insights for the Utah Jazz since May 2023. Prior to this role, Fenske was with the Boston Celtics from June 2017 to May 2023, serving as a Basketball Operations and Salary Cap Analyst, as well as a Basketball Operations Technology Developer. Fenske also gained experience as a Student Technician at the Yale Student Technology Collaborative from November 2013 to May 2017 and interned as a Basketball Data Analyst with the Portland Trail Blazers in the summer of 2016. Prior to that, Fenske completed a Data Analyst Internship at STATS LLC and a Web Development Internship at Design Angler Inc. Fenske holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Yale University and also studied at the Aquincum Institute of Technology in Budapest.
