Luis Corona

Luis Corona has a diverse work experience in various roles within the logistics and sourcing field. Luis started their career as a Logistics Analyst at FMC Technologies, where they received a Recognition Award for their work on import Customs Improvement Plan and Singapore Voluntary Prior Disclosure. Luis then became a Buyer, responsible for PO management and sourcing services.

Corona then joined UTEX Industries Inc. as a Logistics Coordinator, where they streamlined export documentation and implemented new templates, saving significant time. Luis also developed and coordinated standard procedures for importing and exporting among multiple locations.

Luis later returned to FMC Technologies as a Buyer, where their responsibilities increased based on their satisfactory performance.

Luis then joined TechnipFMC as a Logistics Standards Specialist, responsible for data analysis, dashboards, and delivering employee packets. Luis subsequently progressed to the role of Logistics LATAM Supervisor, managing imports and exports for multiple countries and achieving cost savings. Their most recent role at TechnipFMC was as a Regional Logistics Supervisor, where they automated processes, increased productivity, and achieved significant cost savings.

Corona's most recent position is as the Corporate Indirect Sourcing Manager at UTEX Industries Inc. where they currently work.

Luis Corona attended the University of Houston-Downtown from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
