Ajay Anand

Ajay B Anand is a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Toronto, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as the Vehicle Dynamics and Modelling Lead for the University of Toronto Formula Racing team, Ajay has been instrumental in designing the first fully driverless steering system and conducting simulations using advanced software tools. Previous experience includes internships at Tesla focusing on vehicle dynamics modeling, and at Hylobiz where Ajay developed a KYC pipeline and a fraud detection algorithm, both leveraging machine learning techniques. Early professional experience includes a mechanical engineering internship at Interocean Ship Repairs LLC, where Ajay gained knowledge of pumps, heat exchangers, and propulsion systems used in large ships.
