Peter Aksel Villadsen has had a long and varied career in the healthcare industry. Peter Aksel started their career in 2002 as an Analyst for Pfizer Danmark, where they were responsible for strategic planning and pricing. In 2005, they took on an Intern role at the Royal Danish Embassy in Washington DC, working in the Pharmaceutical Section. In 2006, they returned to LEO Pharma A/S as a Corporate Health Economist, developing corporate pricing strategies and conducting market assessments. In 2008, they moved to Medicon Valley Alliance as a Senior Business Analyst, developing services and tools for biotech and venture capital companies. From 2009 to 2018, they held various roles at LEO Pharma, including CPO, Corporate Vice President of LEO Innovation Lab in Silicon Valley, Senior Director of the Global Centre of Excellence Patient Engagement, and Director of Global Patient Engagement. In 2018, they co-founded UTILITY therapeutics. Most recently, in 2020, they joined GN Group as Senior Vice President of Digital & New Consumer Experiences, where they are responsible for delivering best-in-class and individualized experiences to customers and consumers.

Peter Aksel Villadsen completed their high school education at Sorø Akademis Skole in 2001. Peter Aksel then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Business Law at Copenhagen Business School from 2004 to 2006. After that, they completed a Master's Degree in Economics of International Strategy and Governance at Copenhagen Business School from 2006 to 2006. In 2010, they obtained an MMPI at CBS Executive Fonden in the field of Managing Medical Product Innovation. In 2016, they completed an Executive Education at Stanford University in Innovation and Management. Finally, they completed a Program for Executive Development (PED) at IMD from 2018 to 2020. In addition, they obtained a certification in People Management from CfL Center for Ledelse in 2012.
