Nitin Sood

Nitin Sood is an accomplished banking professional with over 21 years of experience in various leadership roles within the financial sector. Currently serving as Cluster Head at Utkarsh Small Finance Bank since November 2022, Nitin oversees business growth for the Haryana and Himachal Pradesh Cluster Branches, managing a retail portfolio worth 1160 Crore and leading a team of more than 100 staff across 12 branches. Previously, Nitin held the position of Cluster Head for Rajasthan branches, ensuring profitability, compliance, and budget achievement. Nitin also served as Assistant Vice President at Axis Bank for 14 years, where responsibilities included leading branch operations across multiple regions. Earlier career experiences include Senior Manager at HDFC Bank, Deputy Manager and Operations Head at IndusInd Bank, and Senior Manager at ICICI Bank. Nitin holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Himachal Pradesh University, completed in 2002.
