Sean Coughlan

Sean Coughlan is the current head of engineering at Utmost. Sean has held this position since October 2018. Prior to that, they were the CTO at Viasat Ireland from November 2016 to October 2018. Before that, they were the CTO at Arconics from January 2015 to November 2016.

From December 2013 to December 2014, Sean worked as a software freelancer. Before that, they were Principal Architect, Engineering Manager and Head of Engineering at Cayova from July 2012 to November 2013.

Sean started their career as a software engineer at Exoftware in September 2003. Sean then moved to NewBay Software in July 2005, where they worked as a Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer and Engineering Manager until July 2012.

Sean Coughlan attended the University of Galway, where they studied engineering with a focus on electronics and programming.

They work with Conor Halpin - Head Of Sales, John Mcguire - Head of Product, and David Petroni - VP, Finance. Sean Coughlan reports to Annrai O'toole, Co-Founder & CEO.
